Central Ohio Native Returns to Bring the Funny

June 1, 2011 - PRLog -- Side-splitting stand up comic Matt Ward hails from Lancaster, Ohio and lived in Columbus for 8 years making major contributions to the local music scene with IdiotPress.com and work with ComFest. He championed the addition of stand-up comedy to the entertainment line-up of ComFest in 2007, being the first stand-up comedian to ever emcee the main "Bozo" stage of the festival.

Matt Ward has performed stand-up comedy since 2007.  His style is brazen, honest, raw and uncensored. Since getting started Ward has shared the stage with comedians like Maria Bamford, Doug Stanhope and Kyle Kinane.  He has performed in front of crowds as large as a few thousand and has traveled all over the country making people laugh. Ward is also the founder of The Crackers of Comedy Tour which performed across the Southeast earlier this year on their 2011 tour.

Ward will perform Wednesday June 22, 2011 at Wild Goose Creative. The show starts at 8pm and the admission is $8 at the door or $7 in advance through his website.
