      Hundreds of homeless in the Phoenix, Arizona area recently slipped into some very comfortable socks thanks to Doctor Specified. Foot Solutions, a Doctor Specified Health and Lifestyle sock retail venue, organized and hosted the event which conducted free foot evaluations and fit brand new shoes and socks to hundreds of people from local homeless and women’s shelters.

    Certified Pedorthists from Foot Solutions stores in Ahwatukee, Arcadia, Phoenix, Gilbert, Goodyear, Scottsdale and Surprise conducted the evaluations. Along with the foot evaluation, shoes and socks, attendees were pleased to have free transportation, a full barbeque lunch and entertainment.

  “We think healthy footwear is really more of a necessity than a luxury,” said Jeff Petruske, Senior Field Operations Consultant for Foot Solutions. “It is one we want to offer as many people as we can. The donation of the socks by Doctor Specified really helped make this event a success.”
