Terra Firma to perform live with Yo Gabba Gabba! in Adelaide

FOR YO GABBA GABBA! SIDE-SHOW IN ADELAIDE

After it was announced the live version of cult children’s TV show Yo Gabba Gabba! would tour the East Coast of Australia this year, both the Australian and USA Yo Gabba Gabba! Facebook pages were inundated with hundreds of pleas from South Australian fans to bring the tour to Adelaide.

As a result, Entertainment Store Group and Life Like Touring are bringing the YO GABBA GABBA! I LIKE TO DANCE side-show to Adelaide’s Norwood Concert Hall on Saturday 18 June.

The colourful Gabba Gang - Brobee the little green one, Foofa the pink flower bubble, Muno the red Cyclops, Plex the magic robot, and Toodee the blue cat-dragon - will be coming to Adelaide at last and bursting onto the stage for a live performance; in a cheerful, brightly coloured show filled with music, dance and songs about everything from food to sharing.  

A popular segment from the Yo Gabba Gabba! TV show, Super Music Friends, will be getting a local twist at the upcoming Adelaide shows.

International Artists such as MGMT, The Ting Tings, Snoop Dogg and Run DMC have shared the stage with the Gabba Gang in the USA and our Adelaide audiences will enjoy their own local, Super Music Friends with local hip-hop act Terra Firma now confirmed to appear as part of the show.

Since 1995, Terra Firma have been a driving force in Australian hip hop. With razor sharp, socially conscious lyricism delivered over melodic and detailed beats, they’ve been a guiding light in the local hip-hop movement over the last decade.

Created as a television show for pre-schoolers, the wild kaleidoscope of colour and music that is Yo Gabba Gabba! has become a phenomenon amongst kids, teenagers and adults alike around the world. Yo Gabba Gabba! is a program that reaches well beyond its target pre-school audience and the music is a large part of the reason.

Unlike most other preschool programming, Yo Gabba Gabba! has a cool factor that gives it broad demographic appeal and also exposes the tots to some pretty great tunes.

This June, Adelaide is set to dance as the Gabba Gang hit the stage at the Norwood Concert Hall in YO GABBA GABBA! I LIKE TO DANCE for a number of shows over one day only.  Tickets are selling fast at www.bass.net.au or call 131 246.
