Farra Helps Kids Economic Education

June 6, 2011 - PRLog -- For the 10th consecutive year, Farra Design Center announced it will continue sponsoring Injaz Lebanon, a branch of Junior Achievement International (www.Injaz-Lebanon.org) helping students in public and private schools acquire economic and business knowledge on the world around them, after school.

Farra employees are encouraged to take time off - at Farra's expense - and teach an Injaz course at one of the Beirut or Metn schools. The interior design department at Farra also hosted in the past students during Injaz Job Shadow Days.

Injaz has taught eight different courses to 60,000 kids in public and private schools in Lebanon. Every year some 400 volunteers are given the necessary tools to teach over 10,000 kids in 50 schools elements of business and economy.

Injaz Lebanon is officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and help teachers in public schools acquire the necessary tools to tutor kids and guide them to find their vocation.
