With 20 years of experience and three full-service day spa locations around the Triangle, Skin Sense now has a reputation for promoting total body wellness and bringing balance to the lives of tens of thousands of clients. As it has grown from its initial concentration on facials and waxing, the company has added therapeutic massages, deeply relaxing body treatments, nail care, makeup, microdermabrasion and more to its menu of services. Along the way, Skin Sense has grown from Ms. Padgett’s solo practice to a staff of around one hundred in its corporate office and three day spa locations in North Raleigh, Cary, and Brier Creek. Its innovative approach to wellness, highly-trained therapists and state-of-the art facilities such as saunas, steam rooms, and relaxation lounges, have earned Skin Sense over twenty-five awards from its clients through surveys conducted by nearly every local newspaper and magazine, including reader’s choice awards such as “Best Day Spa” and “Best Facial” from the readers of magazines such as Midtown, Metro, and Independent Weekly to name a few. Recognizing that holistic wellness and caring for the earth go hand-in-hand, Skin Sense, a day spa has taken great pride in its commitment to the environment.
