Braintree, MA Single-family Home Prices, Sales Down May 2011

Aug. 12, 2011 - PRLog -- The median price and sales of single-family homes in Braintree, Massachusetts decreased in May 2011, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only LLC, an exclusive buyer agent real estate firm.

The data were compiled using MLS Property Information Network, Inc, a local multiple listing service.

The median price of single-family homes fell 11.9 percent in May 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $40,000.  Single-family home sales in Braintree, MA fell 23.1 percent in May 2011, a difference of six sales compared to May 2010.  

In May 2011 the median price of condominiums increased 14.3 percent, or $34,850 compared to May 2010.  Condo sales rose 20 percent in May 2011, a difference of only one sale.  

There were two multi-family home sales in May 2011, up from only one sale in the previous year.
