Latest Games to Join Apple iTunes & Android Smartphone Market From SkillPod Media

A brand new selection of games has emerged into the iTunes and Android market from games developer SkillPod Media. Known for their addictive games, SkillPod's Moto 'Play Anywhere, Anytime, Playtime' is sure to backup the latest release of games.

June 27, 2011 - PRLog -- A brand new selection of games has emerged into the iTunes and Android market from games developer SkillPod Media. Known for their addictive games, SkillPod's Moto 'Play Anywhere, Anytime, Playtime' is sure to backup the latest release of games.

In addition, the company is also focusing on a whole new approach as they are rolling out game platforms where players from entertainment and web portals, to even social networks like Facebook to play casual and skill type games.

There a three main custom games which have been developed in house by SkillPod Media. No stranger to the market SkillPad media is known for producing some of the most popular feature-rich games online.

First off there is Boys and Girls - a really cheeky take on being the new kid on the block. Players have to make friends and skirmish with the opposite sex in a fun struggle to rule the neighborhood. The perfect game for pre-teens.

Galactic Striker is an intergalactic shoot-em-up with a comic book story line that will appeal to everyone from vintage Star Wars fans to those who love comic book sci-fi.
Finally there is Pig Pop, which is best described as popping bubble wrap with silly animal sounds for extra satisfaction. We all know how mystifyingly addictive it is to pop bubble wrap. Now you can do it in a competitive game, with increasing difficulty as more animals join in to be popped.
These new titles can be found on the SkillPad Media online gaming network. They are also available to buy from the Apple iTune and Android market. You can also find them on their Facebook platform. Some of the games are available free but advert supported, whilst others are downloadable at a fixed price.
SkillPod has used a mix of business modules for this 1st phase. These include free play, ad supported games and ´lite´ versions that limit play to the 1st few levels (users can then purchase the full version or versions that have no restrictions or advertising). The next phase will see the introduction of in-game purchasing, like the ability to buy add-on packs and power-ups, and to unlock new levels.

There will be two new games available per month and SkillPod will be making them available for branding and marketing by businesses and brand owners.
