Introducing Gay Sitges Link

July 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Our principal aim is to make Sitges one of the best places to live in Europe for gay and gay-minded people.

Sitges Gay Link want to improve the quality of life here by giving back to and helping the gay community, to assist the social welfare side of gays and lesbians living in Sitges, in the same way as LAMBDA does in Barcelona.

One of the first services they shall be offering will be :
A Helpline for those who are encountering problems (muggings/robberies; psychological problems; health problems; legal problems; accomodation problems …)

A Citizens Back-Up Centre, it will be a place were gay people can go for assistance and advice, all of which will be treated with utmost confidentiality.

Free condoms
in our associates’ bars, restaurants and shops.

Crimewatch – to help to reduce the level
of gay-related crimes here, many of which go unreported!

A number of events throughout the year. These events will
be all be held to fund our services and projects, on a non profit base. The first event will be the “Gay-White-Night” during Gay Pride.
