Xzibit Claims Planking Is "Racist"

July 8, 2011 - PRLog -- Green Bean Buddy has reported that famed rapper Xzibit, has recently tweeted his disgust and disapproval of the planking fad.

“Planking is THE dumbest sh*t ever. Planking was a way to transport slaves on ships during the slave trade, its not funny. Educate yourselves.”

The Representatives at Green Bean Buddy go on to explain what Planking is, and the extreme outcome of something that started out simple.

"The act involves simply laying face down with arms at your sides. Sounds simple enough right? Well add in some attention deprived young adults and maybe a splash of alcohol and you get a not so simple act."

"Plankers everywhere find themselves trying to out do each other by planking in the most unusual places possible. No one really know where the extreme act of laying down originated.  Some think it is a form of art or expression, others like Xzibit, simply think its stupid."

The rapper adds, “Don’t get it twisted. I care less where your dumb asses lay face down and take pictures of the sh*t, I’m just telling you where it came from.”

At this time the statement made by Xzibit is just an opinion, and is not proven to be the actual origin of the so call "Planking" action. Indeed the body position is similar to the presumed way slaves were stacked in ships when brought to America.

Green Bean Buddy go on to report the dangerous and now fatal side of Planking.

"Because of the popularity and the competitive nature of society, planking has taken a dangerous turn and recently has resulting in numerous fatalities, one of which in Australia where a 20 year old college student, plummeted 7 stories to his death, will attempting to balance on a hotel balcony railing."

"The seriousness off the recent deaths has caused many local enforcement agencies to issue citations or even arrest people planking."
