Dave Atkin, ABP Port Manager Teignmouth and Plymouth comments: “ABP’s relationship with Hydrex and FUCHS has been growing since we took delivery of our first MHL380. We now have three MHL380s at Teignmouth and have found the machine to be the best match for our short-sea operations due to its 300 tonnes per hour handling capability and the wide range of accessories available. This, combined with Hydrex’s excellent service support, is why we continue to choose FUCHS machinery.” The FUCHS MHL380 is mobile, flexible, powerful and, in contrast to stationary cable cranes or gantry cranes, takes minimal time to get to where it is needed. At 67 tonnes and with a 21 metre reach, the powerful hydraulics and the excellent stability permit swift yet precise loading manoeuvres even at higher loads. Steve Roby, Machine Sales Director for Hydrex, comments: “The FUCHS range provides solutions for various end-users’ applications. The MHL 380 is the ideal materials handler for the diverse demands of ABP’s modern port logistics. We are delighted to receive this repeat order from ABP and look forward to continuing this working partnership.” # # # Hydrex is a leading provider of Plant Hire Solutions to the Rail, Materials Handling, Waste, and Construction & Engineering industries in the UK, with over 25 years experience of working in partnership with customers.
