Model 6277 QuickSwitch Fiber Optic Switch Features: Allows quick connection or disconnection between two fiber optic networks or devices. MEMS-based mirror/prism switch technology supports Gigabit data rates. Service protocol transparent. Bit-rate and data transparent. Optical data throughput scalability. The fiber ports are SC duplex, multimode, 62.5/125 micron and support a wavelength of 850 nm. All switch control is from front panel. No remote control. Front-panel LED's display switch position and power status. OFFLINE switch position stops any and all data throughput for the unit. Retains last switch position in the event of a power loss and continues to pass data. Eliminates need to plug/unplug fiber optic patchcords. Custom length rigorously tested and certified, SC fiber optic cables available for your switch installation. QuickSwitch® PORT CONNECTORS: (2) SC duplex female connectors, labeled IN and OUT. FIBER: 62.5/125 micron, 850 nm. FRONT PANEL CONTROL: (1) Manual pushbutton allows local switching. DISPLAY: (2) Front-panel LED's display switch position, and power status. NO REMOTE CONTROL.
