Haverhill, Massachusetts Median Home Prices, Home Sales Down First Half 2011

Aug. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- The median price and sales of both single-family homes and condominium homes in Haverhill, Massachusetts decreased in the first half of 2011, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only LLC, an exclusive buyer agent real estate brokerage firm.

The data were compiled using MLS Property Information Network, Inc, a local multiple listing service.

The median price of single-family homes declined 8.9 percent in the first half of 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $22,800.  Single-family home sales in Haverhill, MA fell 7.6 percent in the first six months of 2011, a difference of 13 sales compared to the previous year.  

From January through June 2011, the median condo price decreased 11.3 percent, or $18,300 compared to the first half of 2010.  Condominium sales fell 37.1 percent, a difference of 46 sales during the same time period.  

The median price of multi-family homes rose 10.7 percent in the first half of 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $15,000.  Sales of multi-family homes fell 60.9 percent in the first six months of 2011, a difference of 42 sales compared to the six-month period in 2010.
