CASF Honors Miller Construction's Jeffrey Slade with 2011 President's Awards

July 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Jeffrey Slade, project executive with Miller Construction Company, has received the Construction Association of South Florida’s (CASF) 2011 President’s Award, recognizing his leadership as a director of the regional organization.

Slade received the President’s Award at the organization’s recent installation dinner, based on his role in spearheading CASF’s Information Technology initiative in the past year, co-chairing the annual tricounty Craftsmanship Awards program and adding new members.

In June, a majority of CASF’s more than 440 members re-elected Slade to serve a second consecutive two-year term on the group’s board of directors.         

Since joining Fort Lauderdale-based Miller Construction Company in 1998, Slade has been responsible for complex construction projects for the office, educational, broadcast and hospitality sectors.  He is a shareholder and member of Miller Construction Company’s executive team.

A graduate of the University of Florida’s M.E. Rinker School of Building Construction, he is a Coconut Creek resident and is active in industry and community  organizations including the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County, the Construction Executives’ Association, the U.S. Green Building Council and Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County.
