Global production of steel is expected to increase to1.5 billion tons in 2012
South Africa to reduce ferrochrome production due to a scheduled shutdown of a furnace.

Sales of ferrochrome is expected to rebound in Q4 as demand is unable to meet production as resoled the prices will go up.
Albanian Minerals CEO Sahit Muja said said. The outlook for steel, chrome ore and Iron ore the ferrochrome market to be more attractive in Q4 and in 2012.

Ferrochrome prices are expected to recover beginning in September as high energy costs lead to a reduction in supply and as stainless steel users start restocking material.
Iron ore prices to increase in Q4 as Chinese steel mills returned to the market to replenish run-down inventories. .

Demand  for main ingredients of steel  iron ore, ferrochrome, chrome ore will continue to increase in Q4 2011 and 2012
Albanian Minerals predict that China will produce an average 2 millions tons of steel per day in 2012.
India is expected to grow  steel consumption by 15%  in 2011 and then 15% growth in 2012.
 
Demand  for main ingredients of steel  iron ore, ferrochrome, chrome ore will continue to increase .
Surging oil, natural gas, coal , raw materials prices, and rising global commodities prices and inflation will also support iron ore and chrome ore prices.

India raised its steel production capacity to emerging as the third largest steel maker in the world.
The Steel Ministry in India has set a target of 124 million tonnes production capacity by 2012.
