Armored Sound Productions set to release a Producer Beat Mix tape on July 28th hosted by DJ LW

July 24, 2011 - PRLog -- Nashville TN- Douglas “Big Chan” Chandler is a Nashville based producer that can’t be classifieds into one genre, or into one sound because of that Douglas “Big Chan” Chandler decided to do something that you don’t see most producers do on a large scale.

“I wanted to brand myself as a creator of music, not just your average beat maker, states Douglas, “Nashville is a completely different scene and hip hop doesn’t rule like it does in other cities, you have to be versatile here.”

The first volume off the Vault mixtape is scheduled to drop on July 28th, 2011 on Live Mixtapes, it will be hosted by DJ LW and will be composed of 12 songs that will have hooks but will not have your normal lyrics on it. The project will be released then after ruffly every quarter.

Douglas „Big Chan‟ Chandler is the latest edition to the force behind the southern sound dominating the music industry today.
The Knoxville, TN native started with a love for music thirty something years prior to his success today. Always feeling like a “big fish” in a little pond, he started early on his life‟s plan by traveling to major cities as a child with his parents. Making it mandatory, he never left any city without purchasing the latest underground mixtape from the record store. He would share his findings with school peers and close friends, keeping them ahead of radio‟s Top 40 with an understanding that Tennessee was slow to get the hottest songs.
Having the latest in the underground circuit would serve as the minimum for young Chandler‟s growing passion for good tunes. “My father tells me all the time that I always had an ear for music. He said I could dissect a song with no problem. And I still do,” Big Chan admits.
