CORE Music Foundation Lonnie "ICE-CEE" Richardson BURIAL FUND

July 25, 2011 - PRLog -- CORE Music Foundation launched the CORE Music Foundation Lonnie “ICE-CEE” Richardson Burial Fund at Harris Bank this weekend. We aim to raise at least $2,100.00 to pay the outstanding balance due to LR Leak Funeral Home, for funeral costs of the late Lonnie “ICE-CEE” Richardson. Lonnie “ICE-CEE” Richardson was a God fearing, kind man. He was a loving husband and father. Lonnie was loved and well respected in his community, in his church and among his peers. He was also one of the original members of “Chi Rock” (a members only, social club founded on the South Side of Chicago for B-boys, MC’s, DJ’s and Graff writers). “ICE-CEE” was a good man with a kind heart, and he helped anyone in need. According to Lonnie Richardson’s widow, “The funeral was $5,100.00 and my family paid $3,000.00, but we still need $2,100.00 more to pay RL Leak… I need to buy his headstone for the grave but I can pay for that myself, later. I am not begging, but my husband did not have insurance”... “I just want to say thank you, to all of the men and women who contributed for my husband. I know money is tight, so thank you to everyone who can give any amount” Tracey Richardson explains.
