Effective TaylorMade R11 Driver Review

The TaylorMade R11 Driver is the latest and greatest from the makers of the No.1 driver in golf. It has new technology, like an adjustable sole that can adjust the face angle of the club, as well as the ability to adjust the launch angle, making it a truly adjustable driver. This club promotes up to 100 yards of side-to-side trajectory change and 1,000 RPM backspin change, giving you consistent power and distance. The new aerodynamic shape promotes faster clubhead speed for more distance(Cheap golf clubs), 6 yards longer than the R9 Supertri. The white non-glare crown and black clubface (which provides easy alignment) will improve your game and that sleek white finish will make you the center of attention on the course and in the clubhouse.





After the success of the r7 and R9 drivers, the release of TaylorMade's third generation R11 adjustable driver was bound to cause a buzz in the equipment world. Rumors have been swirling over the past few months that TaylorMade was planning to release a white driver, but many those rumors failed to mention the R11’s new level of customization. In previous models, TaylorMade's torque wrench was used to adjust the face angle, which automatically changed the club's loft as well. In the R11, loft and face angle are adjusted independently. Because the club is so adjustable, the R11 driver will be available in only two lofts — 9° and 10.5°. Olsavsky says that's all the loft options that are required, even for Tour pros.



The Introduction of Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP) Technology allows players the ability to adjust the face angle independently of the loft, which is controlled by Flight Control Technology (FCT). The ASP sole plate provides ±2° of face angle change (neutral/square, 2° open, 2° closed)(Cheap golf irons). You can create three lofts with the same face angle, or you can further accentuate a face angle or counter a negative face angle. Plus, the combination of ASP and FCT effectively doubles the range of face angle for the club for ±2° to ±4°.



Altogether, the combination of ASP, FCT and MWT gives golfers 48 methods to set up the TaylorMade R11 Driver to enhance up to 100 yards of side-to-side trajectory adjustment, the most of any driver in existence. Combining full FCT and MWT settings promotes a launch-condition range of 2° launch angle and 1,000 RPM. The FCT system is extremely sleek and streamlined, leading to less mass and also a lower clubhead CG location when compared with hosel adjustability systems in competitive drivers.



The TaylorMade R11 driver is made with a new, modern-classical clubhead appearance intended to suit the eye of better players, when still providing forgiveness and confidence for common players. The shape is more contemporary appearance than traditional Cheap Golf drivers, and slightly triangular to produce a modern yet classical address silhouette. The triangular appearance creates more inertia and a deeper back CG position for greater stability and forgiveness.



At 440cc, the R11 appears slightly (2%) larger due to its white crown colour. Most golfers recognise address size relative to the size of the ball as a key confidence builder. The white crown colour and black PVD face provides optimum contrast against the ground to make the R11 easier to aim. This advantage is even more pronounced in lower light, such as when the tee box is in shade or shadow, on overcast days or when the sun is low in the morning and in the evening. The crown colour also eliminates high-intensity "hot spots" caused by reflected sunlight that afflicts gloss-finish metalwoods.
