Follow on Google News | ART IN THE VILLAGE – Carlsbad's 13th Annual Art FaireCARLSBAD, CA: 13th Annual Art in the Village, Artist and Artisans in Carlsbad will be held Sunday, August 14, 2011 from 9am – 5pm on State Street and Grand Avenue in the Village of Carlsbad.
By: Christy Johnson Art in the Village features over 100 local and regional fine artists using mediums such as oil painting, watercolors, photography, mixed media, new media, classical and contemporary sculpture, as well as artisans who hand-design jewelry, woodworking, furniture, pottery, clothing and accessories. Each artist and artisan that participates guarantees the authenticity of their work and will be on site to meet the public. Many of the artists are world renowned and have had their art featured in major galleries and museums worldwide. Art in the Village is fun for the whole family. Visitors and villagers of all ages will enjoy art demonstrations and lessons--including special art activities for kids--as well as food and music.
