Tennille Williams in Oprah's OWN...!

July 29, 2011 - PRLog -- Tennille Williams is a native of Texas with a heart of gold. A talented, striving actress, who knew at the age of seven years old, her career focus would be in television and film. Born in Conroe, Texas, Tennille became a sitcom and soap opera fan by the age of 7yrs old, memorizing scenes from various TV shows and then performing them for her grandmother.

At the age of 13, Tennille enrolled in a Theatre Arts class at Washington Jr High in Texas, where she discovered that acting was her soul mate and a relationship with endless possibilities.

In 2001, Tennille made the decision to further her acting career and moved to Austin, Texas, where she studied with acting coaches Van Brooks, and Eleese Lester. While in Austin she starred in a powerful Indie film that won 1st place in the Chicago Film Festival entitled "Hangin" along with co-starring on a regional Texas soap opera "Shades of Life", where she was nominated for best actress for her role as bad girl Geneva Jamison.

Pursuing her dreams, Tennille soon moved to Hollywood and has worked on numerous network television shows including the "George Lopez Show", "Entourage", "Dr. Vegas" and many other, as well as independent films. In 2010, Tennille booked the Starring role in a dramatic short titled “Shattered”, which is currently in the festival circuits. Tennille portraits a wife denying her addiction to alcohol, but soon becomes abusive to her 8yr daughter.

Most recently, Tennille completed filming for Oprah’s OWN Network for a TV show entitled “My Mom and Me”, a show that features mothers and daughters opening up about their relationships; which turned out be a very intimate and heart-warming adventure for her and her daughter. Show is scheduled to air later this year.
