Top Model of Colour Reinvents Itself

Aug. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- Top Model of Colour continues to create opportunities and open doors for models of colour both male and female who are struggling to break into mainstream fashion. Over the years TMC has had thousands and thousands of entrants who have gone on to achieve recognition at varying levels within fashion.

Top Model of Colour UK is the home of the TMC franchise. This year TMC will be adding a few surprises to the competition, to ensure it keep the competition fresh and keep the contestants on their toes but the primary aim is to ensure that everyone that participates in TMC is aware of how tough the fashion industry is and is prepared to take it on in full force and be successful.

The regional heats will be taking place on the 14th (female) & 21st (male & female heat) August and this year we intend to make the heats more intimate and the models will parade in front of the judges with the audience close up and standing amongst them. The aim is to see how the contestants manage in a pressurised environment. It is also the aim to make it fairer for the commercial models by not making the catwalk the central focus during the heats.

TMC has a spectacular finale lined up with some fantastic surprises for the finalist and intends to test their resolve to make it in the fashion industry and see who would be the last man or woman standing. Some surprise contestants will also be brought in at various stages of the competition.
