Magnetic Consulting Group is pleased to announce successful 2nd annual Kickball for Komen event!

July 14, 2012 - PRLog -- Magnetic Consulting Group held a successful fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.   Members of the team joined friends, family and local businesses for a charity kickball tournament to help raise money for the non-profit organization.

Magnetic Consulting Group is a sales and marketing firm hired by national service providers to acquire and retain new clients.  The firm is contracted with Fortune 500 clients to represent their brand name to the account holders who use the services.  Founded in Sacramento, Magnetic Consulting Group’s main client is the leading providers of telecommunications in the country.

For more than a century, the client has consistently provided innovative, reliable, high-quality products and services and excellent customer care.  They hired Magnetic Consulting Group in 2010 to connect with their customers to increase the market share by providing quality customer care.

Susan G. Komen For The Cure is a non-profit organization was founded by Nancy Brinker, Susan G. Komen’s sister.  Before Susan lost her battle with cancer, her sister promised that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever.

Nancy founded Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, the global leader of the breast cancer movement, as a way to fulfill that promise.   The organization has invested more than $1.9 billion since inception in 1982.  It is now considered the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists.

The foundation works to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Due to events like the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® and the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure®, and contributions from their partners, sponsors and fellow supporters, Susan G. Komen has become the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.

Magnetic Consulting Group began volunteering with non-profit organizations since inception and the recent 2nd annual kickball tournament is the second event the company has held to contribute to the foundation.  Magnetic also created a Passionately Pink donations page as well to help raise even more for the cause.

The kickball tournament involved over 40 members of the company as they joined other members of the community.  Each member donated and the executives of the local businesses involved agreed to match all donations.  The team at Magnetic Consulting Group was able to raise over $400, exceeding their goal of $250!

“I am proud of the team for getting involved.  I know each contribution makes a difference and I am excited to see how our continued efforts make an impact on the community,” explains Eric Dvorak, President of Magnetic Consulting Group.

Magnetic Consulting Group expects to continue holding more fundraisers for Susan G. Komen For The Cure and plans to continue giving back to several other community organizations as they grow.

"Our next event will involve working with the Wounded Warrior Project," says Eric
