Aug. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- Are you preparing for a friend or a loved one to return home from incarceration? If you are in that situation, this show is for you. Rodney's special guest this week, Ellen Allen, has written a book called IF YOU CHANGE THE WORDS YOU CHANGE THE MEANING.

Her book is about co-dependency and the ways in which we can keep from falling into the role of an enabler.

Many, if not most ex-offenders, have addiction issues and Ellen has examined how the role of loved ones and friends can help to keep the ex-offender in a position to where the decisions they make - good or bad - are solely THEIR decisions.

"We want people returning home from prison to stand on there own two feet. We want people coming home to make good decisions on their own. We want people returning home to to kick the monkey of addiction off their back and the only way to do that is to do it yourself. Ellen does an excellent job of explaining to the listeners the dangers of enabling. This is an important show." stated host, Rodney Mathers.

Journey of Hope With Rodney Mathers is a weekly podcast that addresses the issues faced by men and women after incarceration.
