BNI Miami-Dade Members Make Adopt-A-Dad Program A Big Success

Aug. 10, 2011 - PRLog -- MIAMI - South Florida business professionals from BNI Success Link, a chapter of BNI Miami-Dade, along with their families and friends recently made a difference in the lives of residents of the Miami Jewish Home for the Aged on by creating the Adopt-A-Dad program.    

The project was spearheaded by BNI member Irahisa Disla, CEO of The Beautiful Institute with the help of Arthur Unger, a CPA with Mallah Furman, who sits on the board of directors for the Home.

Members of BNI Success Link participated in “Adopt-A-Dad” by sponsoring Father’s Day gifts for 204 men living at the home. The presents included beautifully wrapped MK Men’s personal care items along with a special thank you message.

“My granddaughter’s experience will serve her for years to come,” said Arthur Cohen, an insurance provider who is also the chapter’s president. “To see her interacting with residents and making them smile is priceless!”

BNI member Elliot Grossbard with WeSupplyYou.com who participated with his wife and three children agreed. “I could not think of another way to spend Father’s Day,” he said.
