Baltimore Fashion Week finds sponsor in the MTA

Aug. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Baltimore Fashion Week partners with the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) to give the City yet another fabulous event with its 4th production. As a sponsor, in addition to a financial contribution, the MTA has provided space on public buses for Baltimore Fashion Week advertisements to be seen throughout the City.

This partnership marks the beginning of a beautiful business relationship, remarked MTA representative Jawauna "Jo" Greene. One of the largest multi-modal transit systems in the United States, the MTA is excited to partner with Baltimore's premier fashion event, which seeks to transition the current state of Baltimore's fashion industry to the next level.

"As a community staple, the MTA services thousands of Baltimoreans a day--this doesn't even include the number of people who will see the advertisements as the buses drive by," Executive Producer Sharan Nixon stated. "We are truly honored to have the MTA as a sponsor."

Baltimore Fashion Week is excited to have a public institution like the MTA come on board and show support for an event of this caliber that has worked so hard to preserve its humble City beginnings. Baltimore Fashion Week continues to provide professional service and exposure for local and national brands; it has become synonymous with introducing participants and guests to the best Baltimore has to offer.

Baltimore Fashion Week and the MTA look to continue this partnership beyond the 2011 production, both Jo and Sharan remarked.

Baltimore Fashion Week will run Thursday, August 18, 2011 through Sunday, August 21, 2011.
