Vince Agwada - Performing at Evanston's Noyes Cultural Arts Center August 27th

Aug. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- Veteran Chicago Bluesman Vince Agwada will be the featured artist at the Fleet-Jourdain Theater's Summer Blues Set.

The program will consist of selections from his 2011 release "Basic Blue", his 2008 release "Eyes of the City" and traditional pieces by Robert Johnson, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters and other Blues greats.

Vince Agwada has been a fixture on the Chicago Blues scene since the early 1980s. Over the years he has played with many of the greats including: Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Koko Taylor, Sugar Blue, Son Seals and Jimmy Johnson.

This event will take place on Saturday, August 27 at 7 p.m. at The Theatre at Noyes Cultural Arts Center, 927 Noyes St. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Call 847-448-8254 for more information (ask for the theatre).
