Newton Abbot Racecourse – Supporting Your Local Landlords

Aug. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- Newton Abbot Racecourse have issued a reminder for Landlords wishing to take part in the second and final Landlord’s Day initiative of 2011 on September 1st to register their interest with the course by Thursday 18th August.

Landlords from across the South West are invited to bring a party of their regulars to the course to enjoy an action-packed afternoon of racing amongst friends. As part of the scheme, each of the landlord’s guests will be able to watch the racing from the Paddock Enclosure, receive a race card, pasty and pint on arrival and can enjoy the post-racing entertainment from the musical duo ‘Honey Soul’.

The Landlords’ Day scheme was set up in 2010 to help support landlords across the South West in tough trading conditions. Alongside offering the opportunity to enjoy the company of their customers away from their usual surroundings, it also gave them the opportunity to receive national branding with the six landlords who brought the largest size party receiving a sponsored race in honour of their pub.

Patrick Masterson, Managing Director at Newton Abbot Racecourse, urged landlords to register their interest for the September fixture as soon as possible: “The last two Landlords’ Days have proved to be extremely popular with landlords and their customers alike and the next Landlords’ Day looks likely to follow suit.”
