Professional booking agent Shelly Harper joins The Lowry Agency.

Aug. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Nashville, TN – Nashville based entertainment firm, The Lowry Agency, has officially announced the addition of professional booking agent Shelly Harper to their staff roster.

Harper’s love of music began at the tender age of eight, when she took up piano. She spent most of her high school and college years attending concerts and critiquing music. After college, Harper owned and operated an advertising and graphic sign company, but her love of music compelled her to sell the business and go back to her roots. She went to work for the local Illinois Chamber of Commerce, organizing and hiring their entertainment for local festivals. While continuing that line of work, she also went to work for a radio station in Rockford, IL, and was the producer for a radio show and booking for on-air talent.

Relationships formed during this time encouraged her to branch off on her own to do entertainment band bookings all over Northern Illinois.  Some of the companies for which she buys talent for include: NTD Management, United Talent Coordinators, Bass Schuler, DD Booking, ACM Promotions, Cam Music, Creative Audio, Rockford Night Out, JBC Booking Entertainment & Marketing, ELQ Entertainment and Rockford Metro Centre.
