Aug. 22, 2011 - PRLog -- Stripercoast Surfcasters Club, a coast-wide striped bass surfcasting club dedicated to the conservation of striped bass, coastal access rights, and catch & release surfcasting competition is raffling off a brand new Van Staal VS spinning reel . This raffle is for YOUR CHOICE of a Van Staal 150, 200, or 250, in your preference of color and retrieve(left handed or right handed, as available).  Van Staal reels are widely considered to be one of the top surfcasting reels on the market, and have a retail value of $699 to $769, depending on model.

The Van Staal VS Series Spinning Reels combine the art of design and manufacturing into a reel of uncompromising strength and simplicity. The frame, rotor and spool are machined from billet aluminum for unyielding strength.. Internal parts are made from the highest grades of metals available like stainless steel and titanium. The patented waterproof maintenance free drag system runs on two stainless steel ball bearings for silky smooth drag performance under the harshest conditions.
