Mountain View Regional Hospital Hires New CEO

After conducting a nationwide executive search led by healthcare leadership solutions firm B. E. Smith, Mountain View Regional Hospital in Casper, Wyo., has hired William Stangl to fill the role of chief executive officer.

Aug. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Bill Stangl, a seasoned healthcare executive with more than 20 years of executive leadership experience, will assume his new duties at Mountain View on August 22, 2011.

“Bill brings many years of experience building strong working relationships with physician owners, which is crucial to success at our organization,” said Mike Stahli, regional vice president, Mountain View Regional Hospital.

Prior to joining Mountain View, Stangl served as the administrator at Mount Nittany Surgical Center in State College, Pa. His career has included executive leadership positions at Northern Wyoming Surgical Center in Cody, Wyo., and at Mercy Health Services/Bon Secours-Holy Family Health System in Altoona, Pa., as well as leadership roles at public health clinic services and a women’s cancer center. Stangl completed a master’s of business administration degree and is a certified medical practice executive.
