How to copy bluray to compuer and then playback?

Aug. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- Bluray movie is completely different from DVD video movie, it doesn't have a navigation file for player software to playback the whole disc, but DVD has, so you can open the VIDEO_TS.ifo file to appreciate the whole DVD movie. For bluray movie, if you just backup it to your computer as a BDMV folder, you can only play the m2ts file to get every individual main movie or trailers. So if you want to appreciate the whole blu ray disc on your computer, you should backup it to image iso file but not a BDMV folder.

Tools needed:
A bluray drive
Blu ray backup software - Ideal Blu-ray Copy
Virtual drive tool
Blu ray player software

First, backup your bluray to iso file.

Step 1: Run Ideal Blu-ray Copy and insert your bluray disc to your blu ray drive.
Step 2: Choose "Image Recorder [ISO file]" from the "Destination" dropdown list.
Step 3: Rename the Disc label to what you like
Step 4: Click Start button to begin copying.

About one hour later, you will get a .iso file on your computer.

Then, playback backup blu ray iso file under the help of DAEMON tool with PowerDVD9.
Step 1: Download the free edition of DAEMON from www_idealdvdcopy_com/download/DAEMON_exe  and install it. And please choose "Free license" when installing.
Step 2: Reboot your computer.
Step 3: Right click  the icon of DAEMON on the right corner of your computer.  Then click "Virtual Devices" ->"Device 0: [H:] No Media" to choose the ISO file you created by Ideal Blu-ray Copy.
Step 4: Open your PowerDVD or other bluray DVD player software.
Step 5: Choose the virtual drive (for example [H:] in the above sample) to playback.
