PetHub Sponsors Seattle’s PAWSwalk 2011

Aug. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- SEATTLE, Wash. -- PetHub, Inc., announced today its sponsorship of the 20th anniversary "PAWSwalk!" fundraising event to help raise $200,000 for PAWS' efforts in the rehabilitation of injured and orphaned wildlife, sheltering and adopting homeless cats and dogs, and educating people to make a better world for animals and people.

"We're big fans of the Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) here in the Seattle area," said Tom Arnold, Founder of PetHub.com. "This is a group of people who lead by example and have the hundreds of volunteers and thousands of contributors to back them up. We're excited to be a voice in that choir," he noted.

The 2011 PAWSwalk! takes place on Saturday, September 10, at Seattle' Magnuson Park. Check-in opens at 8:00 AM with the walk commencing at 10 AM.  Thousands of walkers and their canine pals are expected to participate in this 5k walk through the park. The event includes a Kids Zone, Canine Agility Course, FlyBall demonstrations, contests for participants and their dogs, shopping, and lots of free samples.
