Aug. 31, 2011 - PRLog -- Bob Bennie, respected longtime financial advisor in Lincoln, Neb., and a Nebraska tea party leader, will hold a news conference Thursday, Sept. 1, at 10 a.m., to reveal incriminating Nebraska Banking Department emails obtained as part of his $6.43 million lawsuit filed in June against four department employees for harassment and violation of his constitutional rights.

“We have clear and indisputable evidence of abuse of authority, official misconduct, and violation of constitutional oath of office,” Bennie said.

"This new evidence goes directly to Mr. Bennie's claims for violation of his civil rights," said Steve Grasz, Bennie’s attorney and former chief deputy attorney general for the state of Nebraska.

Bennie has been registered as a broker agent and investment advisor with the Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance since 1995. He’s a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), and holds a masters degree in Business Administration from Kansas State University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  In 2009, Mr. Bennie was named one of the top 1,000 Financial Planners in the United States by Barron’s Magazine.  He is a past board member of the Financial Planning Association of Nebraska, and is a nationally recognized presenter of hundreds of educational workshops to both investment professionals and the public.
