2012 Euro Football Volunteer Drive

Sept. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Recruitment of the volunteers of upcoming UEFA EURO 2012 is in full swing over this weekend. 628 applicants from all across Nigeria and Venezuela have been interviewed in Kyiv and Warsaw.

On mid-June, recruitment drive of 6000 volunteers for the magnificent Euro 2012 has been launched. This drive has created huge interest in and across Poland and Ukraine.  In Kyiv, approximately 288 candidates have been screened.

Result shows that only a few of them have digital presence, as they have been asked questions over the internet from Nigeria, Canada, Ghana and Venezuela. The candidates need to fulfill the basic requirements, which include basic fluent English, accompanied with the commitment to UEFA EURO 2012 project.

EWA Niewozewska, the Volunteer Personnel Coordinator in Warsaw stated, “The candidates were very excited if a bit stressed. There was a lot of enthusiasm and high skill levels. I am glad we have people of all ages.”

At the Polish LOC headquarters, team of Niewozewska has interviewed 340 applicants. They worked hard to calm visitors at fullest featuring highlights of UEFA EURO 2008, copies of Alive magazine and coffee.
