Gail Travis’ N:F:P Framework Series 6 POPs UP for Fall 2011

Sept. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- RS POP Shop is eager to announce the awaited return of ever evolving NFP Studio for its September and October 2011 POP UPS.  Showcasing Fall/Winter 2011 collections with Spring/Summer 2012 Previews. N:F:P stands for New Form Perspective and designer, Gail Travis’ modular collection of smart, geometric shapes and styles are of the moment but not bound by time.  Keeping consistent to her true form, each piece has the ability to link, layer, fold, snap, shift, turn upside-down, backward and creatively mold creating a platform for personal expression that is sustainable and fits various lifestyles.  "I am inspired by my surroundings, personal interactions, experience of movement, architecture and sculpture,” says Gail Travis, Designer, NFP Studio, “Ultimately these inspirations morph into the modular, building-block nature of these designs.”

Travis’ collection will be showcasing her use of self-made, featherweight fabrics in her signature neutral colors.  Using felted silk and jersey-knit which are both hand-felted, she creates modernized, organic beauty in her garments.  “We have happily been collaborating with Gail and NFP Studio since our beginnings in 2009 and are thrilled that she continues to come back to the shop,” says Melissa Gonzalez, Co-founder, RS POP Shop.  RS POP Shop starts things off early hosting our very own Opening Night Wine Reception on FNO Thursday, September 8th from 5-7:30 pm, with snacks provided by POPChips.
