This meant that competitors- Some of her personal beliefs: Despite many thinking she is in her early to mid twenties, Spacek is a single parent (early thirties) of a teenage son, twice divorced. She suggests to the models that hard work and determination should be shared with a significant other, not instead of. "I have lost so many talented models to boyfriends/girlfriends, or family not understanding the measures of sacrifice and separation from daily activity to become a successful model." She reinforces, "You are extraordinary, not ordinary, so have faith and not fear, that you have what it takes, but it will not happen overnight." Select models take her advice, and others become uninterested or eventually released from the company for questionable behavior.
