AmeriClean Obtains New Certification

Sept. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- AmeriClean is proud to announce that Dave Maurer recently earned NADCA's Certified Ventilation Inspector (CVI) certification. With this certification AmeriClean joins an elite group of Air Duct Cleaning professionals and further enhances our ability to evaluate and clean heating and cooling systems.

AmeriClean President, Bob Eriks, says this certification enables AmeriClean to work with commercial and industrial property managers to assess their ventilation systems and recommend the appropriate cleaning services to improve Indoor Air Quality.

Bob recommends that ventilation systems be inspected every year or two to prevent buildup of dust and debris within the system. He also reminds customers that maintaining a clean system can reduce heating and cooling costs and can prevent debris related breakdowns.

AmeriClean is a member of the National Air Duct Cleaners Association and utilizes the source removal method to provide the highest level of service. AmeriClean provides residential, commercial and industrial duct cleaning services to property owners from South Chicagoland to Northwest Indiana.

About the Certification
Certified HVAC Ventilation Inspectors (CVI) undergo training based on the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) I-BEAM program, which provides a structured method of doing inspections, in compliance with NADCA's standards and guidelines. The training and certification examination covers applicable building and IAQ standards and codes, maintenance and housekeeping programs, diagnosing IAQ problems and reporting findings to building owners.
