Cement Grinding Process in Cement Plant

Sept. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Cement grinding process is the key step in the cement production line. In the cement grinding process, limestone, coal, gypsum and clinker need to be grinded into powder by cement grinding equipment.

Limestone grinding: Limestone firstly is crushed by limestone crusher, and then small pieces after crushing are mixed with additive materials. The mixed materials enter into raw mill for grinding. In this process limestone crushing machine and mill are very important. Ball mill and Raymond mill can be used as cement limestone grinding mills.

Coal grinding: Coal is another raw material in cement production line. Coal crusher and coal mill will be used for crushing and grinding the coal into powder. And then the coal powder enters into rotary kiln together with limestone powder. Ball mill and vertical mill can be used as cement coal grinding mill.

Gypsum grinding: Gypsum also needs to be crushed firstly by cement crusher. Then the small-sized gypsum and clinker after cooling in cooler enter into the cement grinding mill for grinding. Cement Ball mill is used as cement grinding machine to grind gypsum and cement clinker into cement powder.
