SBCs with Intel® C206 Chipset, USB 3.0, SATA 6Gb/s and Intel® Active Management Technology 7.0

Sept. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- IEI Technology Corp. (IEI), the global industrial computing innovator, introduced a new SBC series featuring the Intel® C206 chipset. The IMBA-C2060 and IMB-C2060 are available in ATX and Micro ATX form factor. When combined with the 32nm Intel® LGA1155 (ATX/Micro ATX) processor, the Intel® C206 series is ideal for applications that require ultimate efficiency such as surveillance security monitoring, public infotainment, and high-resolution digital signage.

The Intel® C206 series includes enhanced features such as transcoding by hardware encode and decode technology, stereoscopic 3D (S3D) with advanced 3D video function, and improved video playback quality. It supports the next generation of Intel® Turbo Boost Technology, which optimizes overall performance by expediting processor cores to run faster than the base operating frequency. The ATX IMBA-C2060 and Micro ATX IMB-C2060 SBCs support Intel® LGA1155 processors. The new on-board chipset, USB 3.0, SATA 6Gb/s and Intel® 82579 PHY allow the Intel® C206 series to excel in data and video transmission throughput. The Intel® C206 chipset supports Intel® Active Management Technology (AMT) 7.0 which allows IT to diagnose and repair problems remotely.

What is iEZman?
The IEI iEZman application allows a remote user to have full control of keyboard and mouse by providing an out-of-band KVM function. In addition, a remote user can view uninterrupted video output even with a BSoD (blue screen of death) or missing disk present. These features are made possible through hardware-based Intel® Active Management Technology 7.0.

With iEZman, remote users such as support personnel can control and perform administrative tasks through a graphical user interface in Windows. All functions can be managed through this single interface after password verification. iEZman helps reduce TCO and improve productivity by providing IT departments with remote client management, OOB (out-of-band) diagnostics and assets tracking regardless of system power or OS state.

iEZman Functions:
‧Power Management - To power the remote system on, off or reset.
‧Schedule Power Management - To schedule the systems to wake from a sleep state or turn off at a particular time.
‧Remote Access - To boot remote PCs from a local CD-ROM, floppy drive or ISO image, or boot into the BIOS.
‧Group Management - To sort remote PCs into groups for easy monitoring and control.
‧Patch Management - To apply patches to remote PCs.
‧Alert and Events - To send an alert when system problems occur.

IEI One Key Recovery Solution
The unique IEI One Key Recovery solution includes exclusive technology to recover and backup the operating system with the simple press of a key. A recovery image CD with IEI official license sticker ships with every IEI single board computer, embedded system, or panel PC. It includes the system recovery software developed by IEI with Windows PE 2.0. The recovery image can be used to create a full system backup and restore from system failures. There is no need to buy additional backup and recovery tools.

All migration tasks can be performed remotely from a central management console reducing the costs associated with a physical visit. Neither specialized IT staff, nor consultants are required to implement the system imaging and data migration. Thus, IEI One Key Recovery simplifies the imaging and migration process and saves time and money. Please note that IEI One Key Recovery works on IEI products only. A warning message appears when attempting to run the software on a non-IEI product.
