How long does it take to publish a co-authored book project?
The typical turn around time is 6-8 months.

What is a ISBN?
The International Standard Book Number (ISBN) is a 10-digit number that uniquely identifies books and book-like products published internationally.


Do I need a unique ISBN?
No, you don't. But It will give your book unique number allowing for more efficient marketing of products by booksellers, libraries, universities, wholesalers and distributors.

Are the books available through major distribution?
Yes, we register all books with Baker & Taylor, Bowker, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon.com. This enables authors to do book signing at all major book retailers.

Can I place my books on Amazon.com myself and open an advantage account?
Yes, you can purchase an exclusive ISBN number for $100. If you are doing self-publishing with Insight, the ISBN number is included in the pricing.

What marketing assistance is provided?
Our goal is to help each client sell and promote his or her inventory of books. We have come up with a plan to do just that: “21 ways to Market your Book.” If you have not received this, please contact your Insight Publishing representative for a copy. Once we receive your photo, we will provide you with a custom cover and press release to start marketing and pre-selling.

Can I see a sample chapter of the interview-based books?
Yes, there are a couple of books available to view on this site under samples. You may e-mail info@insightpublishing.com and we will e-mail you some recent chapters to view.

How many books of this kind (interview based books) have you done in the past?
We have been in business since 1990 and have published hundreds of co-authored books. They are very well received in the industry and by the consumer.

Are we able to view a contract?
Yes, under our samples tab there is a contract link. Click there and you can view either the co-author or the self-publishing book contract.
