Using Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 to set company goal metrics

Within Microsoft Dynamics CRM goal metrics are split into two areas; parent goals and child goals; Parent goals are the combined goals for areas of the organisation, child goals are the individual goals of departments and teams that ultimately form parent goals. Child goals are able to be assigned to individuals and teams within CRM.

A simple working example of this would be four sales people have target of 30 meetings each by the end of Q1; the 4 individual child goals are tracked and monitored by the sales director and these targets form the parent goal for the sales team which is monitored by the board of the organisation.
