PetHub.com Helps Seattle Humane Society Raise $166,000

Sept. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- SEATTLE, Wash. -- PetHub, Inc., a company with the goal of getting pets home faster and safer than ever before through existing and new technologies, teams with the Seattle Humane Society as a key sponsor for their annual "Walk for the Animals" event on September 25th, 2011, from 9 AM to 4 PM at the University Village FidoFEST. The funds will be used to provide food, medical care, and shelter to animals cared for by Seattle Humane. "You don’t need a dog to participate," noted Tom Arnold, President and founder of PetHub, Inc., "just a love of animals. It’s going to be a lot of fun and goes to a wonderful cause!"

The walk is approximately 2 miles or an optional 1-mile route starting at University Village (2623 NE University Village Street, Seattle, Washington, 98105) and going through the Union Bay Natural Area Trails. Participants will have the opportunity to stop along the route for water (for people and pets) or have their photo taken at the Photo Stop. After the "Walk for the Animals," attendees are encouraged to stay for "FidoFEST," a dog-centric afternoon, from 11 AM to 4 PM with contests, adoptable animals, kid's activities, pet-related vendors and more all to benefit the animals at Seattle Humane.
