Alternative Holistic Medicine Includes Natural, Alternative, Integrative and Complementary Therapies

Sept. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Detroit, MI – Dr. Schavi M. Ali, founder and Executive Director of the Divine Wholistic Health Association, announced at last week’s press conference in northwest Detroit that by popular demand Dr. Wayne Chandler will spend two days of his national tour in Detroit.

Dr. Chandler’s theme of this year’s tour is “Re-Structuring DNA:  Cellular Regeneration & Revitalization.”  Chandler’s schedule begins Saturday, November 5 at the God Land Unity Church at 22450 Schoolcraft from 12 Noon until 5 PM.  Listening to the Saturday lecture, the audience will learn the necessary steps to keeping healthy in body, spirit and mind through alternative holistic medicine.

Following the principles of Dr. Chandler’s lecture will help individuals move from carbon-based to crystalline energy.

When alternative holistic medicine is used with conventional medicine in a fully coordinated approach to patient care, this is referred to as complementary medicine, integrative medicine or holistic healthcare. Complementary, integrative and alternative holistic medicine is based on a physician-patient partnership in which both conventional and alternative modalities are used to stimulate the body’s natural healing potential.

This enlightened approach to diagnosis and treatment brings together the best of all traditions and has the advantage of putting an increased emphasis on disease prevention and general wellness.

The second day of Dr. Chandler’s Detroit visit, Sunday, November 6, is an intimate retreat limited to 20 people.  Chandler will give a detailed instruction in Divine Sounds and Body Movements that will re-structure DNA and strengthen organs, glands, muscles and cells.

The private retreat will take place on Sunday, November 6 from 10 AM until 5 PM in Southfield.

As a motivational speaker and workshop facilitator, Chandler has lectured around the world. He began his study of Yoga spiritual science in the early 70s under the guidance of Swami Vishnudevenanda where he learned the Sivananda system of Hatha Yoga and Pranayama. In 1981, he began his study of Iyengar Yoga under the instruction of John Schumacher where he achieved strong standing in the advanced levels of that system.

Wayne B. Chandler MS, CPH, SCE, is the author of “Ancient Future: The Teachings and Prophetic Wisdom of the Seven Hermetic Laws of Ancient Egypt” and “The Brighter Side of Darkness: A Light Warrior's Guide to Inner Alchemy and Spiritual Transformation.” He is an Anthro-photojournalist specializing in African and Asian civilization, philosophy and culture.

The Retreat and Lecture admission fee is $135.00 when paid by October 29, 2011 ($175.00 after October 28).  Admission for only the Lecture on November 5 is $35.00.
