Construction Materials Manufacturer Builds Green Reputation

Sept. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- HOUSTON – Green Element Solutions manufactures Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) and Energy Efficient Panels from recycled materials for various construction applications.  The company recently enrolled with the Green Business Bureau (GBB) to become green business certified.

“At Green Element Solutions, environmental standards are extremely important,” says Maurico Muris, the company’s President.  In seeking a green certification that matched their own corporate mission—to work in harmony with the world in order to preserve and execute green practices-- Green Element Solutions’ team researched numerous organizations before finding the GBB program.

Muris says that Green Element Solutions’ green goals include identifying and implementing better manufacturing processes and construction methods.  The company’s products, which are created by recycling existing materials, go a long way towards achieving that objective.  

Green Element Solutions’ products do not use wood, which is better for the environment and reduces the problem of mold and rot.  The very nature of the design of ICFs eliminates the need for insulated products that may emit harmful chemicals, and saves on heating and cooling energy.  In addition, the company’s products are fire retardant which conserves the integrity of a structure, and soundproof, which eliminates noise pollution.

“We use existent materials to make our products, which saves energy and raw materials and creates high-quality, efficient and sustainable construction supplies that improve building practices and processes,” says Muris.

The added benefit to Green Element Solutions’ manufacturing processes is the improvement to the company’s bottom line through the cost reduction in energy and materials. The company is currently in the process of integrating a system where it will use natural rain water during manufacturing to reduce water consumption as well.
