The International Chamber Artists (ICA) invite you to spend your afternoon enjoying a concert of “Bach, Böhme & Beyond.” Join ICA on Sunday, November 20th at 4:00 PM at St. Gregory the Great Church, located at 5535 N Paulina St, Chicago, IL 60640, one block from Ashland and Bryn Mawr. ICA musicians will perform the Quintet for Tuba and Strings by Jan Bach, Sextet, Op. 30 by Oskar Böhme and Gran Trio, Op. 112 by Jan Koetsier. “Illinois local Jan Bach’s piece has been described as ‘the best solo piece in the literature’ for tuba. German Oskar Böhme and Dutch Jan Koetsier symphonically sculpt their brass chamber music,” says Patrick Godon, ICA Founder and Artistic Director, “So, come and take in a breath of brass.” ICA concerts are free with a suggested donation of $15.
