United Aesthetics Organization Hosts Educational Workshop

Oct. 5, 2011 - PRLog -- Members of the beauty industry are invited to attend the United Aesthetics Organization’s educational workshop on health, 9:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 31 at the International Dermal Institute, 4725 N. Scottsdale Road, Suite 105 in Scottsdale.
    Registration begins at 8:30. Members who bring a paying guest can attend free. Otherwise the cost is $15 for members and $30 for non members. After Oct. 22 the cost is $20 for members and $30 for non members.
    The seminar, Empowering Women to a Healthy Life includes presentations on : Finding Cancer Fast by Sherry Gage, director at John C. Lincoln Hospital Breast Health and Research Center; Breastworks 101 (areola restoration) by Pamela Abshear; Achieving Happiness from Fear to Empowered Women by Bryan Zahn, life coach, speaker, writer and author.
    The UAO offers educational programs, seminars and workshops; discounts for goods and services; access to job postings; networking opportunities with other professionals; a mentoring program; quarterly meetings and newsletter; guest speakers; individualized promotional opportunities for each member, and limited financial assistance for ongoing education.  Membership is $50 a year. Sponsorships are also available.
