Baker Brothers Donates Plumbing for New House

Oct. 5, 2011 - PRLog -- In partnership with Dallas Habitat for Humanity, Baker Brothers Plumbing is donating all the plumbing for a new home in the Fair Park area of Dallas valued at $9000.

A crew began work last week at the house at 4427 Jamaica St., and will install fixtures as construction progresses, said Jimmie Dale, owner of Baker Brothers Plumbing.

“Joining with Dallas Habitat for Humanity is an important step in our mission to serve and improve our community,” Dale said. “This is part of our commitment to being a good corporate citizen.”

Dallas Habitat for Humanity supporters “earned” the donation—estimated at about $9000 -- by following Baker Brothers Plumbing on Facebook.  Nearly 500 Habitat supporters participated.

Since its incorporation in 1986, Dallas Habitat and its contributors have built over 850 homes and served as a catalyst for the revitalization of more than 20 communities.

Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity is the largest nonprofit homebuilder and the largest single-family residential homebuilder in the City of Dallas.
