The Legacy at Willow Bend Hosts Casino Night

Oct. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- The Legacy at Willow Bend, Plano’s first and only life care senior living community, recently took on a different look—the look of a Las Vegas casino. After a fun happy hour and a seated dinner, members and guests tried their luck at casino tables in the community living room.

“Everyone had an amazing time socializing at our casino night,” said Lisa Harris, lifestyle and member assistance coordinator, The Legacy at Willow Bend. “This is the second year we have held this event where we invite members, family and guests. It is always a huge hit!”

Everyone was dressed to the nines in bright colors and fun jewelry while playing blackjack, poker, roulette, craps and other casino games at tables manned by “Vegas-style” casino dealers. A beautiful buffet offered an array of foods and desserts.


“Participants played for tickets that they could use to bid on a variety of prizes,” said Harris. “The prizes were donated by each department at The Legacy and outside vendors as well.”

The Legacy at Willow Bend, Plano’s first and only life care retirement community, is situated on a 28-acre site at Spring Creek Parkway between Preston Road and Ohio Drive.
