Outlook Foundation Highlighted at 9th Annual SMB Nation Fall Conference

Oct. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- LAS VEGAS - The Outlook Foundation, a non-profit organization created to refurbish and repurpose computers, providing them to under resourced children as well as U.S. service personnel, was highlighted at the 9th Annual SMB Nation Fall Conference held at the Rio Hotel & Casino. Each year a charity is recognized by SMB to receive support.

The announcement was made by Harry Brelsford, SMB Nation chairman and founder, who kicked-off the first phase of the support program by donating $1,000 and issuing a challenge grant to be matched by the conference attendees. The Outlook Foundation will also be supported by an in-kind advertising campaign by SMB Nation's print and digital media, and SMB will actively encourage sponsors and tribal members to make generous in-kind donations of new and used hardware and software.

John Iasiuolo, Outlook Foundation president and host of the Internet talk show, the Computer Outlook Show, was at the conference when the announcement was made. "Back in April, I told Harry about what the Outlook Foundation was doing, and he immediately offered to help. He said we would be named his charity of the year, and that he would help us in any way he could, including helping us raise money. This is just a tremendous honor, and we look forward to being able to help many, many more children and U.S. service personnel who are being deployed and their families."
