The 4th Annual WMT&GHC Announces DEIK/Health Tourism Business Council as Platinum Sponsor

Oct. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- The Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) was established as the "Turkish private sector's gateway to international arena" in 1988 for the specific purpose of establishing, promoting, and strengthening the Turkish private sector's economic relationships with international businesses and organizations. As part of its sector-oriented strategy, DEIK established the Health Tourism Business Council in 2010 under the leadership of the Turkish Accredited Hospitals Association and in partnership with Turkish Travel Agencies, Turkish Airlines, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and a group of domestic and international institutions. The primary purpose of the Council is to enable the highly-developed Turkish health sector to achieve its well-deserved place in the international arena, and contribute to the global value chain with its high value-added services.
