The company is co-sponsoring, along with Ryan's Smashing Life, Annie Rock, and Tyrannosaurus Records, a Day Party at Arlene's Grocery on Friday, October 21st. The line-up includes NPR Music darlings, Hey Marseilles and Green Light Go's own Bear Lake. They will be joined by Gentleman Hall, Filligar, Kasey Anderson and the Honkies, Slow Runner and OldJack. After eight years of working with major label artists at BMG and Sony BMG respectively, Janelle Rogers opened the doors of Green Light Go in 2002, with the philosophy of operating a publicity company with the highest level of passion, honesty, and integrity, while simultaneously successfully launching the careers of independent musicians. Since then, Green Light Go has worked with an exclusive roster of clients to present an artist's unique story to thousands of journalists, publications, and media outlets in a way that is as articulate and compelling as the music itself. Straight from the GLG roster, Bear Lake will also perform. The band prides themselves on their fun stage show which seeks to engage the audience with the personal messages often found in their songs. Even from the stage, it's Bear Lake's goal to share these themes and develop a personal relationship with their audience. The quintet has toured most of the major cities on the east side of the country and has shared the bill with Mice Parade, Sufjan Stevens, Dale Earnhardt, Jr Jr, Jessica Hernandez, and many others. Ryan's Smashing Life is a Music and Entertainment website published daily from Boston.
